In September, it is the best time to visit Mu Cang Chai, Sapa when level terrace field is full of ripped rice.In October and November - Autumn, many visitors go by motorbikes to Ha Giang ( there has hiring motorbikes service) to take pictures of flowers of Tam Giac Mach.

Also, this is the best periods for visiting Hanoi. Autumn in Hanoi always makes inspiration for many authors to create literatural and musical works. Yellow leaves fall on the streets, and you will not sweat out, just slightly cold in the late afternoon and at night.
The South of Vietnam, including Da Nang city, has two seasons: dry and rain seasons. The weather here doesn’t change much. Therefore, no need to worry about your travel here.
